What is waveicles of love?

Waveicle – an entity that simultaneously has the properties of a wave and a particle

The above term is borrowed from the field of quantum physics and is used as a metaphor for that which defies definition, a force, like love, an energy that flows through form, as form.

Waveicles of love is the general umbrella term for artist Lisa Lo Russo’s creative work in the world.  It is an energy that flows through her work and actions as they are made manifest and felt/received by others.  The term originated as the title of Lisa’s 2007 MFA thesis show, Waveicles of Love, an exhibition which continues to inform her practice, still reverberating.
